Local Fax Server

Description:This job will check the specified folder paths and using name matching will automatically attach the file(s) to the corresponding VetView record. The folder paths defined in this job also supports the Document Attachment screen.

Job Settings

This job is used to send reports to a local fax server, verse using a subscription fax services. This job must be setup in addition to the setup found on the Hospital or Labs setup screens.

VetView strongly recommends having a dedicated API server for jobs.  

The error to email address should to to a VetView user who has admin privileges and can monitor the messages. 

You must have a local fax service installed on the server, such as Windows Fax Service, or a Linux equivalent, for VetView to control faxes through this API.

Required Hospital and Lab Setup

For both Labs and Hospital, choose API to send faxes using the server's local fax service, or select fax by email to send faxes using the server's email instead.

All Hospital units will have the same setting for Fax Service.

For Labs, each lab can have its own fax settings.  These are fund under the Attachment Settings in Lab Setup.
