In order for this option to be effective, the Hospital Unit must be designated as an Inventory Area. This option, for the Inventory Area, can be configured using either of the following screens: - Navigate to the 'Hospital Setup' screen via the 'Navigation Menu'.
- Select the Hospital.
- Navigate to the 'Unit Setup' tab.
- Navigate to the 'Unit Details' subtab.
- In the 'Inventory Transfer & Purchase Order Defaults' section:
- Check the 'Inventory Area' option in order to designate the Hospital Unit as an Inventory Area.
- Set the 'Area Auto Receive Inventory' option (refer to the definition for 'Auto Receive Inventory'):
- 'Yes'
- 'No'
- 'Inherit from Hospital'
- 'Inherit from Parent Area'
