  • This page provides an overview of the Billing Package products with a video and PowerPoint slide presentation that demonstrate the features and functionality provided on the Product Setup → Package tab.
      Features of Billing Packages:
      • Limited lifespan - Packages have an expiration date.
      • Package Items - The products and services that are included in the package, or offered at a discount.
      • Package Groups - A group of products and services, that are similar in function or purpose, can be grouped such that the products are interchangable, and mutually exclusive.
      • Group Equivalency - Products within a group can be used interchangeably.  The group has a maximum quantity, and package price.  The items in the group have an equivalency factor used to determine the maximum quantity for each item in the group.
      • Discount Price or Discount Rate - The package price is determined by either a discount rate, or discount price, for each package item; or, for the entire package.
      • Package Liability - The sum of the prepaid prices of the Time of Service, and Prepaid, Package Items that haven't been used before the package expires.
      • Types of Billing Packages:
