Cathy Allison, Business/Application Analyst – (bio pending) - Cathy originally majored in English at the University of Georgia with the intent of writing software manuals, but it took more than a decade in the marketing world to come back around to IT marketing and from there, a plunge more directly into tech support. She previously worked as a medical network technician for TTS in Athens, while working toward her Master in Business Technology through Terry College of Business. She fell in love with business analysis and after graduation, worked at Plum Creek Timber Company in Athens as an IT analyst for internal real estate and leasing applications. She joined the VetView team in 2016 as a business analyst, inspired to work here partly due to the insights of her best friend, a graduate of the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine, as well as her positive experiences with the VTH's neurology department when her cat developed epilepsy in 2015.
In 2018, Cathy completed her PMI-PBA (Professional Business Analyst) certification through the Project Management Institute. She also has previous certifications in ITIL Foundations and CAPM.
Cathy is currently the staff adviser for the anime club at the university, and enjoys reading and writing science fiction.
