When a Product or Service has a Service Fee Add-on, a Quantity of the Service Fee will be added to the Order along with the Product or Service.
The Service Fee Quantity is independent of the Product or Service Quantity. For each Product or Service that is added to the Order, only the Quantity specified for the Service Fee Add-on will be added to the Order.
To Configure Service Fees:
Navigate to the ‘Product Info’ screen.
Select ‘Service Fee’ as the ‘Product Type’.
The ‘Product Setup Options’ will be cleared and disabled.
The ‘Product Details’ tab will be the only tab page that is available.
Select the Sales Unit of Measure, whether the Service Fee can be sold in Fractional Units, and whether to Disable the Client-Type Discount.
Specify the Base Price.
Click the ‘Save’ button to save the Service Fee.
To Add a Service Fee Add-on to a Product or Service:
Navigate to the ‘Product Info’ screen → ‘Product Details’ tab for the Product or Service.
Select the ‘Add Service Fee Add-on’ button to add a new Service Fee Add-on; OR,
Select the row that represents an existing Service Fee Add-on, then click the ‘Edit Service Fee Add-on' button to edit the existing Service Fee Add-on.
The ‘Add / Edit Service Fee Add-on’ dialog will open.
Select the Service Fee and the Quantity of the Service Fee to be added to the Order.
Click the ‘Save’ button to save the Service Fee Add-on; OR,
Click the ‘Cancel’ button to close the dialog without saving the Service Fee Add-on.
