This screen allows you to setup order types. The active order types from this screen will become available on the Order Management page where they can be assigned to various orders for reporting purposes.
Add New Order Type
To add a new record, click the Add New Record button.
- Order Type: Enter a name of the Order here.
- Default: Checking this box will set this Order Type as the default Order Status.
- Related Order Default: Checking this box will set this Order type as the default Order Status for opening an order related to a closed order.
- Rx Order Default: Checking this box will set this Order Type as the default status for orders related to the Pharmacy.
Edit an Order Type
To edit an order type, select the row from the grid and click on the Edit button.
Once the order types are setup, you can then associate orders with a specific type. To do so, open an order and click on the pencil icon next tot he Order Type text on the Order Management screen.
