Design Ideas/Requests

  • Be able to open cashier screen from Patient Record. -UGA
  • Possibly have "locking" of individual fields, and then verification of entire record.
  • Want print list with options for patient record. Want to be able to individually select requests.  Want to be able to send it electronically.
  • Want to have a webcam that can directly interface with VetView.
  • Want previous ownership record accessible from here.
  • Want more fully formed Group patient concept.
  • Need to be able to have "total lock down" of a patient record; it would be the equivalent of removing paper jacket from shelf. -Montreal

Patient Record with Top Level Tabs - Comm Log & Visits Open

  1. Patient area, includes "Ownership History" which lists all previous clients that have been associated with this patient.
  2. Photo of animal.  Will auto collapse if no photo is available.
  3. Client area, includes tabs to switch to other animals owned by the same client.
  4. Other area, not sure what should go here, this is just a place holder for other information we might want on the screen.
  5. The "Add button", allows you to jump to adding some piece of the medical record by typing in what you want to add.
  6. Tabs, these are similar to the tabs in the Clinicians' Desktop.  There will be some flexibility though on mapping tabs to roles.
  7. The Summary screen, this is a new feature that provides a reverse chronological order list of all the actions on the record.  Each episode/order shows up here and is expandable/collapsible/filterable.
