Reminder cards in VetView – thoughts from Cornell

-          Would like to have different text for different reminder categories, within species

-          Currently not able to do this as the same card text is automatically generated for all reminder categories for a species

-          Would like ability to have default text if more than one reminder category is listed for patient- ie. one for “3 month status report” vs a separate text for “3 yr Rabies vaccine”

-          Ability to generate a report of previous reminders for specific patient or group of patients with ability to recreate

-          Ability to have reminder category without having to associate with a VV product (ie. wellness exams or recheck phone call , but would also like the option to do so if needed (ie. vaccines)

-          Ability to individualize reminders (edit text) with a time/date/ID stamp

-          Formatting ability (rich text editor), sizing, placement on cards

-          Automatically generate reminder if associated with a product that is ordered from Pharmacy or placed on bill order( ie. 3 yr rabies vaccine would generate a reminder for re-vaccination in 3 yrs for Rabies)

-          Ability to send out reminders via mail, email, Facebook, Twitter, text, etc.

-          Ability to see easily in patient information if reminder was sent and specific content of reminder- perhaps useful at time of scheduling appointment or admission???

Internal Reminders - are used for units to track and follow-up on patient records. Internal reminders will be searchable from the reminder search screen, from a home page widget, and on the patient list.
