Objective
To allow hospitals to customize the Vitals that appears on the patient record. To allow for customization and more data types and variation based on species.

User interaction and design
Update the way vitals are entered and stored. Separating each type of vital into its own setup record with value definition, species norms, and filtering. This will also open up the vitals to expanded into all kinds of patient telemetry data and observations. It will also allow for more optimized data storage and querying.
Create new setup section for vitals and patient observations. Create a vital category for grouping and display in the medical record.
Data Types
Number - Number values allow for graphing and also having species specific normal ranges and a min max to validate entry.
Value List - Limit user to select from a predefined list of values, Value list items can be assigned a numeric value so the entries can be graphed.
Text
Specialized Value types that have multi-part or specialized usages.
Weight - Displayed in kg, lbs, and m2.
Temperature - Displayed in F and C.
Blood Pressure - Systolic and Diastolic
IV Fluids - Drip Rate, Volume Infused, and Total Volume Infused
