Edit Report Setup

After selecting the reports you wish to view and clicking Search, you are given a list of reports of that type. Click on the report name (blue link) to edit the parameters for that report.
You can download the Jasper Report Template and Jasper Report File to modify the report locally (using iReport) and then upload the report again to replace it. You can also upload a header image (such as your school logo) to be appended to this report.

Back	Button	Returns to the Report Setup screen
Save	Button	Saves changes to this Edit Report Setup screen
Preview	Button	Opens the PDF viewer to allow you to view how this report will be generated, to ensure that it will appear as you want it to once it is printed
Hospital	Drop Down Selector	The hospital to which this report applies. Not applicable if you only have one hospital in your system.
Report Name	Text Field	The name of this report. Can be customized beyond the report type if you want to have different reports available
Header Image File	Uploader Link	A custom image file for the header of this report, such as your school or college's logo
Report Type	Drop Down Selector	The type of report this is. More specifically, this is how you define what page the report can be accessed on if it's not hard coded to a button. Certain report types are hard coded to pages (since they are only relevant to those screens) but you can have as many custom reports within the report type that you decide. Other custom reports can be assigned to specific pages in the Associated Screen section.
Data Source	Drop down selector	You can use JavaBeans (NetBeans) provided by VetView, or raw SQL for your reports if you want to hand code custom queries
Printer Type	Drop down selector	Choice between a regular printer (8.5x11, 8.5 x14, etc.) or a label printer (e.g. a Zebra printer)
Security Role	Drop down selectors	Which privileges have access to this report. Leave this blank if you do not want to lock the report to a specific privilege.
Associated Screen	Drop down Selector	For custom reports, allows you to link the report to a specific screen outside of just the Report Type. A special Admission report can be linked to the Admission screen. A special vaccine report can be linked to the patient screen, etc.
Description	Large text field	A place to put a detailed description of the report for your internal usage
Jasper Files	Uploader Links	The place to upload the Jasper Report Template and the Jasper Report file generated by iReport.
