Accession | Root privilege to the Accession system. This privilege is required to see the Accession screen in Navigation and on the Header. | Accession Search Screen |
Access Hospital Patient Record | Allows the user the ability to view the patient's hospital record via the Hospital system, via links from the Accession record. At a minimum, the user must have base Hospital access. The user will have read only access unless additional Hospital privileges are granted. | Accession Screen, Hospital Patient Record |
View Accession | Allows a user to view the details of an accession. Without further privileges, this view is read only. | Accession Screen |
Add Accession Documents | Allows the user the ability to add documents to an accession. | Documents Tab |
Delete Accession Documents | Allows the user the ability to delete documents from an accession. | Documents Tab |
Add/Edit Global Lab Macro | Allows the user the ability to create and edit Global lab macros, which can be accessed by all other users for that result type. | Results Tab |
Update Accession | Allows the user to make changes and save them on an Accession. | Results Tab |
Finalize Test | Allows the user to finalize an individual test on an Accession. | Results Tab |
Finalize Accession | Allows the user to finalize the accession once individual tests are Finalized. | Accession Screen |
Allow Specimen Without Patient | Grants the right for a user to create a specimen not associated with a patient on a group accession or other accession (e.g. for research.) | Accession Screen |
Modify Results | Allows the user to change results on an accession. | Results Tab |
Create Accession | Allows the user to create a new accession. Requests that are accepted should automatically become accessions if the user has this status. | Accession Search Screen |
Mass Finalize | Grants the right to Finalize All in a single step on an accession. | Results Tab |
Send Reports | Grants the right to send reports on an accession to RDVMs with results. | Accession Screen |
View Charges | Allows the user to access the Charges tab and review the charges made for the accession. | Charges Tab |
Add Charges | Allows the user to add new charges on the Charges tab. | Charges Tab |
View Documents | Grants access to the Documents tab. Users need additional permissions to add or delete documents. | Documents Tab |
Access Results | Grants access to the Results tab. Users need additional permissions to add and finalize these results. | Results Tab |
Back Out Accession | Administrative option to reset a previously released accession from Working to New. This will delete all results. | Admin Tab |
Delete Accession | Administrative option to completely remove an accession from the system. | Admin Tab |
Edit Header | Allows the user to make limited changes in the Accession Header. | Accession Screen |
Admin Edit Header | Allows the user to make additional changes in the Accession header. | Admin Tab |
Remove Case Coordinator | Admin option to unassign a case coordinator from an accession. | Admin Tab |
Edit Accession Number | Admin option to manually change the accession number. | Admin Tab |
Transfer Accession | Allows the user to transfer an accession from one lab to another within the system. | Admin Tab |
Cancel Accession | Allows the user to cancel an accession. | Admin Tab |
Lock Accession | Allows the user to lock an accession, preventing further changes until the lock has been removed. | Admin Tab |
Unfinalize Accession | Allows the user to change an accession from Finalized back to Working, to make additional changes. | Accession Screen |
Edit Tags | Allows the user to modify tags on an accession. | Results Tab |
