Product

A product in VetView is any item or service that can be sold to a client and will appear on the patient's order. This can be a physical item, a service associated with a visit that has no physical items sold with it (such as grooming or boarding), or a fee associated with another product or service. Products can be automatically billed based on episodes, catalog items (documents and requests), prescriptions or other medications, as well as manually added to the episode order. Products can also be bundled together as a package, sold as a unit via multi-item or compounds, or billed ahead of time via our pre-paid system. Lab and service requests can be billed at the time of request or the time of completion.
