How do I reschedule an appointment?
How do I reschedule an appointment from the Schedule screen?
To reschedule an appointment from the Schedule screen, right click on the appointment you want to move, and choose Reschedule Appointment.
Two things will happen:
- The time slot you clicked on will temporarily gray out to indicate the appointment in it is being rescheduled
- The appointment itself will move to the Working Appointments section on the screen.
Working Appointments will stay on the screen until you move them or cancel the reschedule. This means you can navigate to days in the future without losing the appointment you are rescheduling.
When you have found the time slot you want to move the rescheduled appointment to, drag and drop it onto the central panel to reschedule.
How do I cancel a reschedule?
If you started to reschedule the wrong appointment by mistake, you can right click on the appointment in Working Appointments, and cancel the reschedule without losing any data.
How do I reschedule an appointment from the PA screen?
Under Appointments on the PA screen, you can launch a specific appointment in Reschedule mode on the Schedule screen by clicking on the icon that looks like a calendar day.
How do I reschedule multiple appointments at once from the Appointment Search screen?
If you have a large block of appointments that will need to be rescheduled, VetView 2.0 supports multiple appointments in Reschedule mode when launched from the Appointment Search screen.
For example, if a specific clinician will not be available on a given day and has asked you to reschedule all the appointments, you can search for them using the dates requested and Employee on the Appointment Search screen.
Select the applicable appointments from the Results list, and click on Reschedule Selected Appointments.
The selected appointments will load in the Working Appointments section of the Schedule screen, and you can drag and drop them onto new time slots as you confirm with the clients what time they are able to switch to. The currently selected appointment will be the one in the largest box. To switch, click on the appointment you want to select. The previously selected appointment box will shrink, and the new selected appointment box will expand.
