Event Setup Tab

The Event Setup Tab contains a list of events that should trigger print actions automatically.  You can add, edit, and delete actions as necessary.

Add Action

Click on Add Action to create a new event.   A window will appear.

FieldDescription
EventThe event that triggers the action.  Choices between Accept Request,  Finalize Accession, Finalize an accession on Hold, Manually Print Label, and Release Accession.
ActionThe result of the event.  Choices between Print Catalog Defined Labels, Print Catalog Defined Reports, and Print (Accession) Report. 
SectionWhich section these actions are restricted to, if any.  This can be left blank if it is to apply to all sections of the lab.
Default PrinterWhich of the default printers this action should be sent to.  These are the printers set up on the Printer Setup tab.
Enabled for Users by DefaultWhen this flag is checked, the printing will happen without an additional prompt.   When this option is not checked, the Print Dialog window will open so it can be printed after confirmation.

Edit Action

To edit an action, click on the row and click on the  Edit Action button.  The Event Setup window will open for you to make changes.

Delete Action

If an action should no longer be used, select the row and click on the Delete Action button.

You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the action.
