Invoice Setup Tab
The Invoice Setup Tab is a series of parameters for the lab's invoices. These include the email address for which to send payments, the formatting, and additional comments that can be added to invoices specific to the lab.
You can also add in any adjustment reasons that will be used by this lab on the Accounting screens. Additional accounting setup is handled on other tabs in Lab Setup.
Invoice Parameters
Field | Description |
---|---|
Remit To Name | The name of the person or department to whom checks should be made out. |
Remit To Address | The address to which payments should be mailed. |
Remit to City | The city of the address for mailed payments |
Remit to Country | The country of the address for mailed payments |
Remit to State (Or Province) | The state or province of the address for mailed payments. |
Remit to Zip | The zip code or postal code of the address for mailed payments. |
Prefix | If lab invoices should have a specific prefix entered before the invoice number, it can be set in this field. |
Print Credit Card Remittance on Invoices | If a user can pay with credit card on invoices, this flag can be selected to include the option. |
Auto Post Payments to Direct Charge Accounts | For clients set up as a Direct Charge account, the payment can be automatically applied against the invoice when this flag is selected. |
Payment Type | The type of payment that will flag the Direct Charge account auto pay. Custom payment options are available under Accounting Setup, and any type set as Direct Charge will be available on this drop down menu. If no custom Direct Charge payment types are entered, it will default to standard Direct Charge. |
Invoice Format | Choice between a summary of charges, or full charge detail. |
Invoice Print Order | Choice between the Account Number, the Statement Number, or Account Name on the top of the invoice. |
Group By | Charges on invoices can be grouped by Clinic, RDVM, or Owner, or by a custom client type you have entered on the Accession setup. |
Invoice Comment | Any additional comments you want to include for this lab on invoices. |
Adjustment Reasons
This section allows you to add Adjustment reasons that will be available on the accounting screen for clients of this lab. Each lab can have unique reasons for adjustments, so they are handled on a per lab basis in VetView.
Add New Adjustment Reason
Click on the Add button to add a new adjustment reason. A small window will option. Adjustment reasons are simple text strings only.
