User Management - User Details Tab
Number | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Active Checkbox | This is used to activate/deactive a user. (Typically used as a permanent status) |
2 | Account Locked Checkbox | If this is checked a user will not be able to log into his/her account. |
3 | Session Exempt Checkbox | If this is checked a user will be exempt from Session Timeouts (i.e. can stay logged in and inactive for an indefinite time period). |
4 | Expire Date | If a date is set, on that day, the user's account will become expired (which makes the user have to change his/her password). |
5 | Authentication Type | Use this to set the authentication method that will be used when a user logs in. If LDAP authentication is selected, the fields to change the user's password will be hidden. |
6 | Set Password Button | Changes a local user's password. |
7 | Password Expired Button | Check this to expire a user's password (i.e. force him/her to change passwords upon their next long). |
8 | Employment Information | These selections are used to categorize employees in various ways. |
