VISION Accounting Interface

The VISION Accounting Inteface is a simple API job that sends information to an external VISION accounting system.

Job Settings

This section includes the standard API Job Settings for VetView.  The Active Flag indicates that this job is available to run.  The Auto Start flag will automatically run this job when the server is turned on after a reboot; otherwise it will need to be manually restarted.  

The Server to Run this Job On allows you to choose a server from all of the servers currently connected to the database.  VetView strongly recommends that you have a dedicated server for API jobs, to avoid interfering with users on production servers.

Additional Settings

This section includes the specific information that needs to be sent to the VISION accounting system.  The message will be sent using a JSON pattern.  You can test your connection to the interface by entering in the code in the Test Message box, and confirming the interface sends a valid recipient response.

VISION Interface

This tab captures the logs of any messages sent or recieved from the VISION accounting system.  If you have errors on specific dates, you can filter those dates and view the messages to identify what the issue is.
