How do I show the footer on my lab reports?

My footer is not displaying on the Print Preview

If your Accession reports or other lab reports do not seem to be displaying correctly within the PDF viewer built into Vetview or your browser, make sure that the option "Fit to Page" is selected on the PDF preview.

This can especially be an issue if your custom or local reports are built to print on legal paper, which may cause the report to appear larger than the print preview window normally expects.

Note that this option appears differently in different browsers.

On Microsoft Edge, the option is hidden under the three dot menu.

In Firefox, it appears under the fit options at the top center.

In Adobe Acrobat DC, it is also one of the menu options at the top row.

My footer is not printing on the report at all

If your report is previewing correctly, but the footer is not printing on the report, that may indicates an issue with the Jasper report layout or your printer settings.

Ensure that "Fit to Page" is also selected on your printer's options.

In Adobe Acrobat, this appears as "Shrink Oversized Pages."

For a network printer or a locally attached printer, the options screen will be different.  Please contact your IT help desk to confirm that Fit to Paper / Shrink Oversized has been selected on your printer, too.
