Submit Transfer Request
An Inventory Transfer Request must be ‘Submitted’. This is the first step in the Inventory Transfer Process, and will make it available to the 'Inventory Pull' screen.
In order to have access to submit an Inventory Transfer Request:
One of the following must apply:
The User is assigned to the Destination Inventory Area (Hospital Unit), and has the 'Inventory Transfer' Elevated Privilege; OR,
The User is a member of a Security Role that is assigned to the Destination Inventory Area (Hospital Unit), and has the 'Inventory Transfer' Elevated Privilege.

To Submit an Inventory Transfer Request:
Navigate to the ‘Inventory Transfer Request Search’ screen.
'Inventory Transfer Request Search' screen → Submit Inventory Transfer RequestSearch for, and select, an existing Inventory Transfer Request with the ‘New’ Status; OR,
Click the ‘New Inventory Transfer Request’ button.

On the ‘Inventory Transfer Request’ screen,
'Inventory Transfer Request' screen → Submit Inventory Transfer RequestEnter the 'Product' and ‘Requested Qty’ for all Inventory Transfer Request Items.
On this screen, all quantities are entered and displayed in Sales Units.
Click the ‘Save’ button.
The Inventory Transfer Request will not be complete until the ‘Submit’ button is clicked.
Click the ‘Submit’ button.
The Inventory Transfer Request Status will be updated to ‘Submitted’, and the Source Inventory Area will have access to start the Inventory Pulls.

The Quantity to be Ordered or Transferred is calculated as the ‘Reorder Quantity' plus the ‘Minimum Quantity’ minus the ‘Available Quantity’ minus ‘Pending Quantities’ from Purchase Orders and/or Inventory Transfer Requests that have not yet been ‘Received’.
