What is a patient reminder?

VetView's patient reminders are notices that can be sent to clients, or sent internally to other departments, to inform them of upcoming events.

  1. From the patient record, click on the header and choose Add Reminder, or right click on the episode header and choose Add Reminder.
  2. Select the name of the reminder you wish to add.
  3. Select the due date for the reminder.
  4. If the reminder should be for a unit other than the one the patient is currently visiting (e.g. a reminder for a check up with cardiology when the patient is in for an X-ray) then select the unit
  5. Add any relevent information into the comments
  6. Click save
  7. Multiple reminders can be added at a time

 

Reminders are not fixed and can be adjusted at any time depending on client preferences.  Don't be afraid to change the date!

Reminders can be viewed from the Reminder Widget, and also from the Reminders Worklist.
