The NAHLN Interface is one of the Laboratory Jobs that can be configured under the Jobs and Interface Setup screen in VetView, found under Common Setup.

It works in conjunction with settings under the Labs Test Setup to automatically send the results of tests to NAHLN servers when results are reported for those specific tests.

API Setup and Explanation

Once you enable the NAHLN Interface, you will see the tab open up at the top of the screen. Under this tab you can search and filter through all sent and received messages. Under the Message Setup tab is where all of the HL7 message setup will take place.
