• To report to the NAHLN: Username, Password, and Certificate

• or Authentication Token are required
• Failure Email should forward to someone who has VetView admin privileges and can monitor these messages for issues
• The Schema Definition is not required, but if present the API will validate the message before posting it to the NAHLN website.

• MSH.3 Sending Application is your Laboratories OID. OID Registry
• MSH.4 Sending Facility is your Laboratories Premise ID
• MSH 5 & 6 are NAHLN's information.

NALHN only allows two specimen types for

ASF testing. Ensure that the appropriate SNOMED code is in the specimen setup.  (Common Setup Data > Specimen Setup.)

These codes are permanent and only need to be set once per specimen.

Test Setup - Messaging Profile

Messaging profile must be set up for each test in your lab system that will be reported for this disease.
