How do I copy a time slot to a new time or day?
VetView includes easy copy / paste features on the schedule to allow you to rapidly build out time slots within the same day or across additional days.
How do I copy a time slot to a new time?
If you have created a time slot that has all the attributes that will be used for other time slots on your schedule, we have added a copy and paste function to the Schedule screen to allow you to quickly duplicate the time slot and build out a schedule with similar time slots.
Copy Time Slot
Right click the time slot you want to copy and choose Copy Time Slot.
...
The time slot will move to the left hand task panel, and become the new Working Time Slot.
...
Working time slots will remain in the left hand panel even if you navigate to other days or weeks in the schedule.
Drag to New Time
You can drag the working time slot to a line on the calendar to automatically "paste" it to that as the start time.
...
Once it has been slotted into the schedule's central panel, the time will automatically update on the pasted time slot.
...
Paste Time Slot
You can paste directly onto the schedule via a right click as well. Copy the time slot, then right click to paste anywhere on the schedule that you want to add it.
...
The time will automatically update based on where you right clicked.
...
Cancel a Copy
If you didn't actually intend to copy a time slot, or you copied the wrong one, you can cancel the copy process by right clicking and choosing Remove.
...
How many times can I copy a time slot?
If you drag the copied time slot onto the calendar, the object is cleared from the left task panel and it will disappear. You can copy it again if you need to paste it additional times.
There is no limit to the number of times you can "paste" a time slot that has been copied if you use the right click and "Paste Time Slot" function.
