titleActive Prescriptions

The Active Prescriptions tab contains a list of the most relevent prescriptions in the patient history.

These are separated out into three sections:

  • Approved and Being Filled (prescriptions that have been sent to the Pharmacy Queue)
  • Available Refills (previously issued prescriptions that have refills)
  • Unexpired and Active prescriptions (previously issued prescriptions for which the label expiration date has not yet passed

This tab also allows you to also add a new prescription, edit a requested prescription, and approve a requested prescription.

To Refill a prescription, click on the blue refill counter next to the prescription number to open the refill dialogue box. (See How to Refill a Prescription for more information.)
