Inventory Transfer Alerts provide the ability to identify certain Clients, Episodes, Inventory Transfer Requests, Patients, Products, Purchase Orders, and Vendors that require special attention.

  • Alert Types are user-defined.

  • They are assigned one, or more, Alert Categories via the 'Alert Type Setup' screen.

  • Below, are the minimum requirements for an Inventory Transfer’ Alert Type.

  • Refer to the 'Alert Type Setup' screen wiki page for more details.

To Configure Alert Types for Inventory Transfer Requests:

  1. Navigate to the 'Alert Type Search' screen.

  2. Search for and select an existing Alert TypeTypes.

  3. Click the 'Edit' button to edit the selected Alert TypeSelect the row that represents an Alert Type, and click the ‘Edit’ button; OR,

  4. Click the 'Add New Record' button to create a new Alert Type.

  5. The ‘Edit Alert Type’ dialog will open.In the 'Edit Alert Type' dialog:

  10. Click the ‘Save and Close' button to save the Alert Type and close the dialog; OR,

  11. Click the ‘Save and Continue’ button to save the Alert Type, and clear the fields to define another Alert Type; OR,

  12. Click the ‘Cancel’ button to close the dialog without saving the changes.
