This functionality is new as of version 4.1.
Alert Types are user-defined.
They are assigned one or more Alert Categories via the 'Alert Type Setup' screen.
Below, are the minimum requirements for an ‘Inventory Transfer’ Alert Type.
Refer to the 'Alert Type Setup' screen wiki page for more details.
To Configure Alert Types for Inventory Transfer Requests:
Navigate to the 'Alert Type Search' screen.
Search for and select an existing Alert Type.
Click the 'Edit' button to edit the selected Alert Type; OR,
Click the 'Add New Record' button to create a new Alert Type.
The ‘Edit Alert Type’ dialog will open.
In the 'Edit Alert Type' dialog:
Enter the 'Alert Type' name/description.
Select the 'Inventory Transfer' Alert Category.
The ‘Product Interaction’ and ‘General Interaction’ fields to not apply to the Inventory Transfer Alert Type.
Click the ‘Save and Close' button to save the Alert Type and close the dialog; OR,
Click the ‘Save and Continue’ button to save the Alert Type, and clear the fields to define another Alert Type; OR,
Click the ‘Cancel’ button to close the dialog without saving the changes.
