Provides the ability to replace Billing Package Items with new products across existing Billing Package definitions, and liability.
Features of the Package Item Substitution subtab:
Substitution - Replace one product for another in Billing Package definitions and existing Package Liability.
Client Credit - The ability to credit the client's account for the amount of remaining Package Liability when no replacement is available for the product or service.
Account-Level - Examine accounts containing active Package Liability involving the product or service being replaced.
Package-Level - Examine active BillingPackage definitions containing the product or service being replaced.
Navigation
Click the 'Navigation' button on the VetView button bar at the top of the screen.
Select the product and click the 'Edit' button; or, click on the 'Product Name' hyperlink.
Click on the 'Package' tab, then the 'Package Item Substitution' subtab.
The Product Type must be 'Package' for the 'Package' tab to appear.
The availability of menu items is controlled by privileges that are assigned to each user, so the 'Navigation Menu' will not look the same for all users.
