General Description

This screen allows a laboratory to view, edit, and accept/reject/cancel a request for test(s) received from another entity (hospital, other lab, etc).

Using this screen builds up a "map" over time between the outside entities and a lab's internal data. (These maps can be edited/deleted on the Request Setup Tab of the Lab Setup Screen).

Example - A local practice clinic in Atlanta, GA submits a request for a aerobic culture test to the UGA's Diagnostic Lab. Aerobic cultures are named "AeroCul" in the Atlanta clinic's system. The person using the Request screen to accept this request can associate the test "AeroCul" coming from the Atlanta clinic with the "Aerobic Culture" test in the Diagnostic Lab catalog. After that, the VetView will automatically associate the incoming "AeroCul" tests with "Aerobic Cultures".
