This screen allows you to view/add/edit the specimen list.
- Specimen Code: Is usually used for an abbreviation of the specimen.
- Description: The full name/description of the specimen.
- Standard Code: Can be used as an identifier for an external system (e.g. SNOMED).
- Synonyms: Synonyms are alternate names that can be associated with specimens for searching purposes.
- Hospital List: If "Y" (checked), this specimen is present in the hospital's list of specimens.
To add a new specimen, click on the Add Specimen button.
To edit a specimen, select it from the grid and click the Edit Specimen button.
