This functionality is new as of version 4.1.

The Inventory Pull is the second step in the Inventory Transfer Process. The Source Inventory Area must perform an Inventory Pull in order to fulfill Inventory Transfer Requests.

In order to have access to Pull Inventory for an Inventory Transfer Requests, one of the following must apply:

  • The Inventory Pull can be initiated from either of the following two screens:

    • ‘Inventory Pull’ screen

    • ‘Inventory Transfer Request Search’ screen


To Start an Inventory Transfer Pull from the ‘Inventory Transfer Request Search’ screen:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Inventory Transfer Request Search’ screen.

  2. Search for an Inventory Transfer Request with the ‘Submitted’ or ‘Incomplete’ Status.

  3. Select the hyperlink for the Inventory Transfer Request.

  4. The ‘Inventory Transfer Request’ screen → ‘Transfer Request’ tab will open.

  5. Click the ‘Start Inventory Pull’ button.

    1. The ‘Inventory Pull’ screen will open.

  6. Proceed to 'To Complete an Inventory Transfer Pull' below.


To Start an Inventory Transfer Pull from the ‘Inventory Pull’ screen :

  1. Navigate to the ‘Inventory Pull’ screen.

    1. The ‘Select Transfer Request’ dialog will open.

  2. Select the ‘Source’ Inventory Area.

  3. Select the 'Status' to filter the list.

    1. Any:

      1. The Inventory Transfer Requests with a Status of ‘Submitted’ and ‘Incomplete’, and Inventory Pulls with a Status of ‘Working’ will be available in the list.

    2. Submitted:

      1. The Inventory Transfer Requests with a Status of ‘Submitted’ will be available in the list.

    3. Incomplete:

      1. The Inventory Transfer Requests with a Status of ‘Incomplete’ will be available in the list.

    4. Working:

      1. The Inventory Pulls with a Status of ‘Working’ will be available in the list.

  4. Select the Inventory Transfer Request or Inventory Pull from the list.

  5. The ‘Pulled By’ drop-down will default to the current User, or it can be changed to a different User; and, the ‘Date’ Pulled will default to the current date, or it can be changed to a date in the past or future.

  6. Click the ‘Start Inventory Pull’ button.

    1. The ‘Inventory Pull’ screen will open; OR,

  7. Click the ‘Cancel’ button to close the dialog and return to the current screen.

  8. Proceed to 'To Complete an Inventory Transfer Pull' below.


To Complete an Inventory Transfer Pull :

In order to have access to edit the Minimum Quantity, Quantity on Hand, Expiration Date, Lot Number, Serial Number, NDC, and Manufacturer fields of the Existing Inventory:

One of the following must apply:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Inventory Pull’ screen (See above).

  2. The system will automatically populate the ‘Pulled Qty’ for the Inventory that will expire first, in the Source Inventory Area.

  3. Click the ‘Save’ button to save changes.

    1. The process won’t be complete until the ‘Complete Pull List’ button is clicked; but after saving, the Inventory Pull can be closed and reopened at a later time.

  4. Click the ‘Complete Pull List’ button to complete the Inventory Pull process.

    1. The ‘Please Confirm Inventory Transfer Pull’ popup will appear.

  5. Click the ‘Yes’ button to confirm.

    1. The Inventory Transfer Request Status will be updated to ‘Transferred’; OR,

  6. Click the ‘No’ button to cancel the operation and close the popup.
