General Description

This screen is used to find and manage tests on accessions.  It is also used to create worksheets and working lists for use on the Worksheet and Result Entry Screen (respectively).

To increase ease of use on the Test Search Screen, take advantage of the "Set Default Search" feature. This automates a search of your default search parameters each time you go to this page.

1Receiving LaboratoryThis dropdown selects the receiving laboratory you wish to narrow your search results to.
2Status CheckboxesThese boxes allow you to specify the status of tests you'd like to search for.
3Received DateHere you can specify a range of received dates to search among.
4Trailing Date RangeThis allows you to set a range of days for within which you would like to search. For example, if you would like to see all tests performed by a certain lab in the past five days.
5AccessionHere you can search for tests on a specific accession by entering the accession number.
6Accession Reference NumberThis allows you to filter tests by the associated accession's reference number.
7Number of RecordsThis box allows you to select the number of records you wish to display on the screen at one time.
8Performing LaboratoryThis dropdown selects the laboratory performing the test to narrow your search results to.
9SectionThis dropdown selects the section you wish to narrow your search results to.
10WorkstationThis dropdown selects the workstation you wish to narrow your search results to.
11TestThis dropdown selects the test you wish to narrow your search results to.
12Assigned To DropdownHere you can search for tests assigned to a specific person by entering someone.
13Not on ListCheck this box to search only for test that are not currently on a Working List or a Worksheet.
14Unassigned TestsClick here if you which to only search for tests that have no person assigned to them.
15Print Working List ButtonThis button prints a summary of the selected tests.
16Assign ButtonClicking this button launches a popup that allows you to assign the selected tests to a user.
17Generate Worksheet ButtonThis button generates a worksheet made up of the selected tests.
18Generate Working List ButtonThis button generates a working list of the selected tests.
19Finalize ButtonThis button finalizes all of the selected tests.
20Select All CheckboxClick this to select all the tests in your results. You can also individually check the boxes next to the tests.
21Worksheet ColumnThis column displays a link to a worksheet if the displayed test is already associated with one or more worksheets.
