The following functionality was provided prior to version 1.7
The Tax Setup tab allows you to customize your state/province and city/local sales taxes, as well as any other special taxes that must be applied to certain product based on your state or province laws.
To add a new tax, click on the Add button. Taxes may be entered up to four decimal places. Taxes can also have a defined start and end date, if your state or province has a temporary tax holiday on veterinary care or products that must expire after a set time.
