Description

Add a backordered alert to an item on a Purchase Order.

Preconditions

  • Purchase Order has been created and marked as “Sent”

Steps

Basic Workflow

  1. Alternate Workflow - Find Purchase Orders with a “Backordered” alert.

  2. Alternate Workflow - Search for products that have a “Backordered” alert.

  3. Alternate - View and Edit Alerts from the Product Setup Screen.

Post Conditions

Individual items on a Purchase Order will have an alert added, with type of “Backordered”

Proposed Changes

  1. Add new Alert setup screen

  2. Add the ability to add, edit, and delete alerts on the PO screen.

  3. Add the ability to search on alerts on both the PO search screen and the new Inventory Search screen.

\uD83D\uDCD4 Basic Workflow

  1. Access the purchase orders search screen through the main navigation. Open the purchase order that item is located on.

  2. From the Purchase Order tab right click on the item to flag with backorder alert.

  3. When the alert dialog opens the item clicked on will be selected by default, however user can select more items to be flagged at the same time.

  4. Select alert type and add a comment. When the alert dialog is closed all items selected will be flagged with the alert selected.

  5. Alert Icon will be added to the product row. Roll over will show product details and alert text.

1️⃣ Alternate Workflow - Search for Purchase Orders with a “Backordered” alert.

  1. From the Purchase Order search screen, you can select the alter type to filter on.

2️⃣ Alternate Workflow - Search for products that have a “Backordered” alert.

  1. From the Inventory Search screen, there is a tab for products that have alerts.

3️⃣ Alternate - View and Edit Alerts from the Product Setup Screen.

  1. From the product setup screen, alerts are visible on the product details tab. Right click menu will allow user to edit and add alerts.
