This functionality is new as of version 4.1.
Before using this function, be sure to set the ‘Minimum Stock Quantity' for the Products in the affected Inventory Area.
Refer to Configure Inventory Minimum Quantity.
To Create an Inventory Transfer Request using the Minimum Stock Quantity:
Navigate to the ‘Inventory Transfer Request Search’ screen.
Click the ‘Min Stock Transfer Request’ button; OR,
Click the ‘New Inventory Transfer Request’ button.
The ‘New Inventory Transfer Request’ dialog will open.
Select the ‘Source Area’, ‘Destination Area’, and optional ‘Date Needed’.
Select the ‘Auto add items below min stock levels’ checkbox.
Click the ‘Save’ button.
The ‘Inventory Transfer Request’ screen will open.
The Products that have reached the ‘Minimum Stock Quantity’ for the Inventory Area, have been added to the Inventory Transfer Request.
Rows that are highlighted in red, represent Products with Inventory that have reached the ‘Minimum Stock Qty’ for the Inventory Area.
The ‘Requested Qty’ is automatically populated, and based on the:
‘Reorder Qty’ minus
‘Qty on Hand' minus
‘Pending Qty’
