This functionality is new as of version 4.1.

The ‘Picklist’ report is printed from the ‘Inventory Transfer Request’ screen, ‘Product Reorder’ screen, ‘Product Setup’ screen → ‘Billing / Inventory Picklist Setup’ tab, or the ‘Purchase Order Details’ screen, and provides the ability to print or export the Picklist Details.

To Print the 'Picklist' report from the ‘Product Reorder’ screen:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Product Reorder’ screen.

  2. Click the ‘Picklist’ button.

  3. The ‘Add Picklist’ dialog will open.

  4. Skip to Step #3 in the ‘To Print the ‘Picklist’ report’ section below.

  • As of version 4.1, attempts to print one of the Dynamic Picklists, will result in an error.

  • Dynamic Picklists are created by the system, and only accessed via the:

  • Currently, the Dynamic Picklists are called:

    • ‘Products Below Min Stock Qty’

    • ‘Standard Orderable Products’


To Print the ‘Picklist’ report:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Picklist’ dialog via one of the following screens; OR,

    1. ‘Inventory Transfer Request’ screen

    2. ‘Product Reorder’ screen

    3. ‘Purchase Order Details’ screen

  2. Navigate to the ‘Product Setup’ screen → ‘Billing / Inventory Picklist Setup’ tab.

  3. From the ‘Add Picklist’ dialog; OR,

  4. From the ‘Product Setup’ screen → ‘Billing / Inventory Picklist Setup’ tab.

  5. Select the Picklist.

  6. Click the ‘Print’ button.

    1. The ‘Picklist’ report will be sorted according to how it was configured via the ‘Product Setup’ screen → ‘Billing / Inventory Picklist Setup’ tab.

      1. Refer to Configure Inventory Picklist.

    2. Currently, the ‘Default’ report is the only report that is available.

  7. The ‘Picklist’ report dialog opens.

 Report Dialog Functionality:

Throughout VetView, when a report is executed, the Report dialog provides the ability to preview, print, and export the report.

Export to Excel

Opens the 'Save As' file dialog to save the report in .xlsx (Excel) format.

Menu button

Menu

Opens/closes the left-side panel which displays the individual pages of the report.

Page controls

Page

Displays the current page and totals pages.  A specific page number can be entered to navigate to any page.

Zoom controls

Zoom

Provides the ability to Zoom In and Zoom Out by clicking the plus or minus button, or entering a specific value from 33% to 100%.

Fit to Page button

Fit to Page

Zooms to a size necessary to display the entire report page within the report dialog.

Rotate Counterclockwise button

Rotate

Rotates the page 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Download button

Download

Opens the 'Save As' file dialog to save the report in .pdf (Adobe) format.

Print button

Print

Opens the 'Print' dialog.

More Actions button

More Actions

Provides additional menu options:

  • Two page view - a toggle that fills the report dialog with two pages of the report, side-by-side.

  • Annotations - a toggle that displays/hides the report annotations.

  • Present

  • Document properties - displays the document properties.

  • No labels
