What is a patient reminder?
VetView's patient reminders are notices that can be sent to clients, or sent internally to other departments, to inform them of upcoming events.
- From the patient record, click on the header and choose Add Reminder, or right click on the episode header and choose Add Reminder.
- Select the name of the reminder you wish to add.
- Select the due date for the reminder.
- If the reminder should be for a unit other than the one the patient is currently visiting (e.g. a reminder for a check up with cardiology when the patient is in for an X-ray) then select the unit
- Add any relevent information into the comments
- Click save
- Multiple reminders can be added at a time
Reminders can be viewed from the Reminder Widget, and also from the Reminders Worklist.
