This functionality is new as of version 4.0.

Alerts provide the ability to identify certain Clients, Episodes, Inventory Transfer Requests, Patients, Products, Purchase Orders, and Vendors that require special attention.

In order to have access to Add Transfer Request Comments & Alerts:

One of the following must apply:

In order for an Alert Type to appear in the 'Alert Type' drop-down list on the 'Add Inventory Transfer Comment / Alert' dialog, it must include the 'Inventory Transfer' Alert Category.

Refer to Configure Alert Types.


To Add Comments and/or Alerts to an Inventory Transfer Request:

  1. Navigate to the 'Inventory Transfer Request' screen → 'Transfer Log' tab.

    1. The ‘Transaction Log’ tab won’t appear until the Inventory Transfer Request has been ‘Submitted’.

  2. Click the ‘Add’ button.

  3. Type the Comment/Alert text in the 'Comment' field.

  4. Select the 'Alert' checkbox to create an Alert.

    1. Select an Alert Type from the 'Alert Type' dropdown list.

    2. Refer to Configure Alert Types.

The alerts that are created on this tab are ‘Inventory Transfer Alerts’, which will appear on screens that display Inventory Transfer Alerts.
