Tip

In order to have access to Cancel Unreceived Purchase Order Items:

One of the following must apply:

The User is assigned to the Destination Inventory Area (Hospital Unit), and has the 'Purchase Order' Elevated Privilege; OR,
The User is a member of a Security Role that is assigned to the Destination Inventory Area (Hospital Unit), and has the 'Purchase Order' Elevated Privilege.

To Cancel Unreceived Purchase Order Items:

Navigate to the 'Purchase Order Details' screen → 'Purchase Order' tab:

If the Purchase Order Status is ‘Incomplete’; AND,
1. For the Purchase Order Items, the sum of the ‘Canceled Qty’ and ‘Received Qty’ is less than the ‘Ordered Qty’; THEN,
2. The Remaining Unreceived Purchase Order Item Quantities can be Canceled all at once.
Click the ‘Cancel Remaining Unreceived Items’ button.
The ‘Please Confirm Cancel Remaining Unreceived Items' buttonpopup will appear.
Confirm the action.
The 'Cancelled Qty' for the unreceived Purchase Order Items will be updated with the difference between the Ordered Quantity and the Received Quantity.
1. The 'Status' of the Purchase Order will be updated.

Click the ‘Yes’ button to Cancel all Remaining Unreceived Purchase Order Items; OR,
Click the ‘No’ button to cancel the operation and close the popup.
The Purchase Order Status will be updated to:
1. 'Cancelled': If all of the Purchase Order Items were ‘Cancelled’, the Status will be updated to 'Cancelled'.

1. ‘Incomplete’: If some of the Purchase Order Items were ‘Received’; AND/OR,

1. but not all, of the remaining items were ‘Cancelled’, the Status will be updated to 'Incomplete'.
2. 'Received': If some of the Purchase Order Items were ‘Received’
