Vitals Medical Record GroupThe Vitals section is where you can add in TPRs and other quantifiable information about the patient at the time of visit, or multiple times through the visit. You can also add some qualitative information, such as appetite, and comments about appearance. Image Modified To add a new TPR, right click the Vitals header and select Add TPR. Image Modified Add in the information about the patient. For BCS, Lame, and Other, your hospital may have some guidelines regarding which scoring system is used. This help text is under the info dot Information entered in metric will auto calculate to imperial, and vise versa. The meter's squared calculation only appears if the K constant is entered for the species. Image Modified The "Appr" flag indicates the weight is approximate. (Use this flag if you have an analog scale or a patient that could not be weighed directly.) Multiple TPRs can be added over the course of an episode. (For inpatients, it can be done as part of the Objective in SOAPs.) TPRs cannot be approved in the verification system, but they can be set to be required for the episode. When that has been set, at least one TPR must be entered for the episode to be counted as completed. Add TPR in a DocumentEpisode Documents/Requests can contain a TPR field. When a TPR is added into this field, it should also automatically pull into the episode TPR history for the episode. Image Added |
