Overview
- The Inventory Reconciliation & Adjustment screen provides the ability to search for inventory by inventory area and location, and by product line and sequence number.
Navigation
- Click the 'Navigation' button on the VetView button bar.
- Select the 'Inventory Reconciliation' hyperlink from the 'Navigation Menu'.
The availability of menu items is controlled by privileges that are assigned to each user, so the 'Navigation Menu' will not look the same for all users.
Functionality
- 'Inventory Area' is required.
- Enter other optional search criteria (click the field name to navigate to the Inventory & Accounting Definitions Wiki page):
- 'Inventory Location'
- 'Product'
- 'Lot Number'
- 'Manufacturer'
- 'Last Recon Date'
- 'Hide Reconciled Inventory'
- Click the 'Search' button.
- To reset the search criteria fields to blank, click the 'Reset' button.
- Search for inventory by Inventory area, Inventory location, and Product.
- Select an inventory item from the 'Inventory List'.
- Update any of the following fields (click the field name to navigate to the Inventory & Accounting Definitions Wiki page):
- You can click the 'Print List' button to load the 'Inventory Reconciliation and Adjustment' report, which will allow you to update the counts on paper then bring them back to VetView to be entered.
- After you have entered new counts in the 'Actual Qty' column, the 'Post New Values' button will become available.
- When clicked, the items that were reconciled, will be updated with the new values, and the 'Reconciliation Date' and 'User' will be set.
