Provides the ability to add, edit, and delete Prepaid Billing Package Items.
Features of the Prepaid Billing Package:
Total Price of Items- The retail price of the items included in the package.
Discounts - The amount of discounts included in the package.
Average % Discount- The average discount rate of the package, based on the Discountsdivided by the Total Price of Items.
Expiration- The number of days that will be added to the date that the Billing Package was added to the order to determine the expiration date of the Prepaid Package. The life of the Prepaid Package starts when it is added to the bill - not when the order closes.
Group Equivalency - For package items in a group, this factor determines the maximum quantity of the group item that can be used from the package.
Package Group- Defines a group of interchangeable products that are mutually exclusive. TheMaximum Quantity,of each group item, is determined by theGroup Maximum Quantitytimes theGroup Equivalencyof the group item.
Item Unit Price- The standard retail price for a single unit of the package item.
Item Discount - The percentage that is applied to theItem Unit Priceto determine theDiscount Amount.
Item Prepaid Price- The amount, for a single unit of the package item, that is included in the price of the package. The Item Prepaid Priceequals theItem Unit Price, minus theDiscount Amount.
Package Liability - The sum of the prepaid prices of the Package Items that haven't been used before the package expires.
Navigation
Click the 'Navigation' button on the VetView button bar at the top of the screen.
Select the product and click the 'Edit' button; or, click on the 'Product Name' hyperlink.
Click on the 'Package' tab. This tab is only available when the Product Type is 'Package'
Click on the 'Prepaid' subtab.
The availability of menu items is controlled by privileges that are assigned to each user, so the 'Navigation Menu' will not look the same for all users.
