About Elevated Privileges

Elevate Privileges provide the User with access to various functionality at the Hospital Unit level. The User can be granted the Elevated Privilege, or they can belong to a Security Role which is granted the Elevated Privilege.

For each Inventory Area (Hospital Unit), the following Elevated Privileges are available to be assigned to each User (Employee); or, to each Security Role. Users that have the Security Role, will also have the Elevated Privilege.:
- The ‘Inventory’ Elevated Privilege can be assigned to a User.
  - Users who have this elevated privilege, will have access to Manage Inventory for the Inventory Area (Hospital Unit).
- The ‘Inventory’ Elevated Privilege can be assigned to a Security Role.
  - Users who have this Security Role, will have access to Manage Inventory for the Inventory Area (Hospital Unit).

Inventory	On the ‘Inventory Count By Area’ screen, edit the following fields for Inventory Items: Comments Counted Quantity Expiration Date Lot Number Manufacturer NDC Serial Number On the ‘Inventory Search’ and ‘Inventory Management’ screens: Add Inventory Adjustments Add Inventory Items Add Lot Number, Serial Number, Manufacturer, and Expiration Date Delete Inventory Items Edit Minimum Quantity Split Inventory Items
