Objective
To provide a “digital bulletin board” for improved communications within a hospital unit. This will be a central location to share unit information that is not necessarily tied to a patient.
Assumptions
We want to avoid redundancy with other screens in the hospital, although there will be some overlap with the User Home Screen After further discussion, we will use the existing Home screen rather than duplicate it
Unit administrators will need a privilege to modify the Unit Notes widget
We will need to modify existing User Home widgets to become the appropriate version of Unit Home widgets. This will entail allowing multiple units in the settings.
Additional Unit-centric widget requests will be added later as part of iterative improvement
Milestones
9/16/2022 - Initial discussion request with Andrew. This is a feature we had talked about implementing previously to replicate missing UVIS functionality, but had never began formal planning for.
9/27/2022 - Requirement refinement with Jeff. Decision to not duplicate the home, but to modify the existing Home screen instead.
