The Personnel list on an episode are all the students, staff, and clinicians who are actively working on the patient for this episode.
Attending Faculty (marked by the 
sign) is required on every episode. Additional faculty can also be added if more than one faculty member supervised for the duration of the episode. The Attending will be credited with revenue if your accounting does it by user instead of by the whole unit, through a practice plan.
Other types of personnel include interns, students, staff, and technicians.
Admitting Faculty can be different from attending, for example if a patient was admitted through Emergency then transferred immediately to surgery.
Admitting faculty are marked with the 
sign.
Receive Notifications is on by default for all personnel. If a user will not need to receive notifications regarding this patient, it can be turned off by clicking the 
sign.
