Starting the Project

In order for the settings you changed (Database, Authentication, and Communications) to take effect, you'll need to restart the web application.  The easiest way to do this is to use the Tomcat Web Application Manager.

 

Open in Your Browser

Open your favorite browser (although we recommend Chrome) and navigate to http://localhost:8080/VetView and you should see the application running.

If you renamed the WAR file from 'VetView', you'll need to change the URL above accordingly. The upper/lower case in the name matters to the URL as well.

 

You Did It!

That's it, you should have a fully functional installation of VetView Version 0.9.2.
