This functionality is new as of version 4.1.
In order to have access to Add Inventory Adjustments, one of the following must apply:
The User is assigned to the Destination Inventory Area (Hospital Unit), and has the ‘Inventory’ Elevated Privilege; OR,
The User is a member of a Security Role that is assigned to the Destination Inventory Area (Hospital Unit), and has the ‘Inventory’ Elevated Privilege.

Inventory can be adjusted via these screens:
‘Inventory Transfer Request’ screen on a ‘New’ Inventory Transfer Request.
‘Product Info’ screen → ‘Inventory’ tab → ‘Inventory On Hand’ subtab
Adjustment Types:
‘Expired’
‘Lost’
'Waste'
To Create an ‘Expired’, ‘Lost’, or ‘Waste’ Inventory Adjustment:
Navigate to one of these screens:
‘Inventory Count by Area’ screen
Inventory Adjustments on this screen will affect the Inventory in the displayed ‘Inventory Location’.
‘Inventory Management’ screen
Inventory Adjustments on this screen will affect the Inventory in the displayed ‘Inventory Location’.
Inventory Adjustments on this screen will affect the Inventory in the Source Inventory Location.
‘Inventory Search’ screen → ‘Inventory On Hand’ tab
Inventory Adjustments on this screen will affect the Inventory in the displayed ‘Inventory Location’.
Inventory Adjustments on this screen will affect the Inventory in the Destination Inventory Location.
‘Inventory Transfer Request’ screen
Inventory Adjustments on this screen will affect the Inventory in the Destination Inventory Location.
‘Product Info’ screen → ‘Inventory’ tab → ‘Inventory On Hand’ subtab
Inventory Adjustments on this screen will affect the Inventory in the displayed ‘Inventory Location’.
Select the row that represents the Inventory to be adjusted.
The ‘Inventory’ row may start with the ‘Qty on Hand’, or the ‘Inventory Location’ column.
Either right-click the row, or click on the ‘Pancake’ menu at the right end of the row, then select the ‘Add Inventory Adjustment’ option.
On the ‘Add / Edit Inventory Adjustment’ dialog,
Select the Adjustment ‘Type’, ‘Quantity’, and ‘Comment’ (optional).
Note that the ‘Total Adjustments’ and ‘Adjusted Quantity’ indicate the Sum of the Adjustments on the dialog, and the net Available Quantity after adjustment.
Multiple adjustments can be performed at once.
Click the ‘Save’ button to complete the transaction; OR,
Click the ‘Cancel’ button to close the dialog without saving.
To Verify That Inventory Adjustments Have Posted:
For the adjusted Product, navigate to either the:
‘Inventory Search’ screen → ‘Transaction Log’ tab; or,
‘Product Info’ screen → ‘Inventory’ tab → ‘Transaction Log’ subtab
Select the ‘Inventory Area’ and optionally the ‘Inventory Location’.
Optional Search Criteria:
Expiration Date Range
Lot Number, Serial Number, NDC, and Manufacturer (searching by a partial value is not possible)
Transaction Date Range
Transaction Type (only one at a time):
Expired
Inventory Count
Lost
Product Setup
Purchase Received
Reconciliation
Sold
Transfer In
Transfer Out
Transfer Receiving
Used
Waste
Click the ‘Search’ button.
Verify that the appropriate Inventory Adjustment transaction was posted.
