Inventory Screen Details

The Inventory Screens in VetView are a place to manage physical inventory as well as reorder products through Purchase Orders, and restock different service units in the hospital using Inventory Transfer Requests.

The Inventory Screens have been updated throughout versions 3.3 to the most current release of 4.2.0 in an iterative fashion. We have broken out screens by version number if they have changed greatly with that release. Pages that have not had a version update in their name have only had minor changes since their release.

While most of VetView has been designed to accommodate laptop monitors that display only 1366 pixels wide, the inventory screens are best viewed on a larger HD resolution monitor. We suggest an optimal screen performance at 1920x1080 (1080p resolution) or larger when working on a desktop system.

  • Inventory Transfer Request is submitted from the Destination Unit

  • Source Unit receives the Request and starts the Inventory Pull from the Shopping List

  • The Source Unit delivers the Inventory Pull to the Destination Unit with the Inventory Pull Report

  • The Destination Unit receives the Delivery

  • The Destination Unit performs an Inventory Stocking against the delivered Inventory Pull

  • Source Unit and Destination Unit performs and Inventory Count to verify the values remain correct in each location
