How do I know new lab results are available?

This page reflects functionality that does not exist in the current version of VetView.

Along with the ability to customize your Patient List to match your workflow, we are adding new columns that contain status information regarding the episodes.

Episodes that are Discharged with the Hold On Patient List flag will remain on the patient list until you remove them.  If a discharged episodes has incomplete labwork, it will automatically be marked as Hold, and remain until you have manually cleared it.

You can add the new column Lab Results to see the status of the submitted lab requests.  You can also add the new column Hold Reason to see the specific reason why this episode is appearing under your Hold group., whether that is lab results or a manual flag.

When the lab results have been set to Finalized status, the patient list will update to reflect the new status.
