Description

Recording waste can be done through most screen as an adjustment. Below are 2 primary use cases.

Steps

Basic Workflow 1. Inventory Pull of Expired Products

Post Conditions

Inventory on hand decreased in source transfer area
If auto stocked, inventory will increase in the destination area

Proposed Changes

  1. New Screen that shows pending transfer requests, with available inventory on hand. Current inventory in the source area can be adjusted on the fly along with a count back of remaining inventory.

Basic Workflow

  1. Access the inventory pull screen through the main navigation. Use the Open Transfer Request menu option to find pending transfers, with the ability to filter be unit. Available units will we filtered to the units that the user has rights to edit inventory. Select the transfer request to start the inventory pull for and the person responsible, this will be defaulted to the logged in user. These events are recorded in the Transfer log, found on the transfer request details screen.

  2. Transfer request will load showing the location and available quantities in the source (from) unit, with the expired items listed first.
