How to find a client on the Accounting screens

How do I find a client's orders on the Order Search screen?

Click on the Orders button at the header of any page to bring up the Order Search screen.

From this screen, you can find the orders associated with any client by typing in the client's last name.  Narrow the search results by including a date range, a case number for a patient, or even the other number itself if you have that information available.

Click on the Search button to bring up a list of results that match.

How do I find a client's orders on the Cashier screen?

Navigate to the Cashier screen by clicking on Navigation and choosing Cashier Screen from the list of accounting screens.  (If you do not have access to the Cashier screen but you believe that you should, contact your supervisor.)

Click on the Get Client Orders button to open up a window with a Smart Search box in it.  You can type in the client's last name, first name, or a combination of the two, and it will display all potential matches.  You can also type in the client account number to bring up the correct amount.

Click on the Select button once you have a match to bring up the client's orders.

The screen will refresh and then display a list of all Outstanding Orders (unpaid or partially paid) for the client.

The client information also appears at the top of the screen, so you can confirm you have an exact match by verifying the address and telephone number before applying payments.

How do I find a client on the Accounting Transactions tab?

The client account search box on the Accounting Transactions tab is a Smart Search box, exactly like the one on the Cashier screen above.  Type in the client's name or account number to bring up the correct account.

As soon as you have a match, click on the Search button.  A list of all transactions for the selected account will appear in the Search Results.
